Bungee Dog Leash

My dog tends to speed up when we walk downhill. The elastic softens the tension and makes it easier for me to keep a steady pace.

The name made me picture something overly springy, but that is not how it feels. It has controlled give and returns smoothly.

We have used it in wet weather several times. It got dirty, cleaned up easily and the elastic still feels exactly the same.

It is not a flashy purchase, but it improves every walk. Better comfort, smoother tension and a much sturdier feel than our previous leash.

Our one-year-old Lab changes direction constantly. This leash makes those quick movements easier to handle without feeling like I am being jerked around.

Before this leash, one sudden lunge could leave my shoulder aching. The bungee does not eliminate the pull, but it removes that horrible sharp snap.

Our teenagers sometimes walk the dog and the softer pull gives them a bit more comfort. We still supervise because he is strong, but the leash feels much less abrupt.

Only used it for a week, so I cannot comment on long-term wear yet. So far the materials feel strong and the bungee action is smooth.

This sounds strange, but the walk feels more natural. My dog and I can change speed without every small difference turning into a tug.
